I have learnt alot over the year and throughout my major project. While producing my project I have come across a number of new and different techniques that I have applyed to my work. I have also discoverd a lot of artists who has inspired me and motivated me through out the project.
My project for this year was to create and design a concept that could be used for either an animated series, or for a feature film, my idea was to create a futuristic zoo called zooalia that was home to alien creatures that people would come to visit. When I first started the project, I found it difficult to start because the project that I chose was such a big topic that I wasnt sure where to start. The refrence and research however was amazing and thats what realy kicked me into gear and what motivated me to start the project.
As the project progressed I felt more confident in my work and shortly after the pre production hand in, thats when I started to finalyse all the characters for the project and all the backgrounds. The most difficult part I found was to time manage everything I had to do, There where so many boxes that I had to tick that it was difficult keeping track of all my work and what I had done. I kept track of my work though by using a scheduel that I wuld check everyday to make sure I was working on what I should be.
I feel that the project this year was the best work that I have produced so far, and I also believe that my time planning was the best it has been, even though the major project was alot to manage.
